We were honored to attend this year’s OMMA (Online Marketing Media and Advertising) awards dinner and even more thrilled that our Make-A-Wish One Moment spot won for Video: Single Execution! Although we were up against some stiff competition from consumer brands, we were confident that our nonprofit video would be a strong contender.
What set our video apart was the hopeful feeling it evoked in contrast to typical despondent fundraising videos for children in need. This differentiating tonality reflects the inspiring mission that Make-A-Wish delivers, which is only made possible by donor support. Our One Moment concept conveys the transformative impact of a wish to give children with critical illnesses renewed courage to fight.
